1. TERMS OF REFERENCE

INTRODUCTION

The Corporate Equality and Diversity Group will have a responsibility to support Keep Britain Tidy’s commitment to Equality and Diversity. It will assist the organisation in the development and promotion of this important area of work by:

• Ensuring the equality and diversity aspiration of Keep Britain Tidy are communicated effectively throughout the whole organisation

• Making recommendations to the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees on matters of strategy, policy and actions relating to equality and diversity

MEMBERSHIP OF THE GROUP

The Group is a Corporate Group, but the membership will reflect and represents the organisation’s commitment to equality and diversity, and shall include:

The Group can co–opt additional members as required e.g. to improve the diversity of representation, or to enhance the knowledge and skill base of the Group
