05 July 2010
Applications are coming in thick and fast for volunteer litter pickers for the Vintage at Goodwood festival.
If you want to be at the coolest festival of the year for free - while also doing your bit to keep Britain tidy - apply now!
If you're passionate about litter, love music, fashion and art, and are avid about all that is vintage British cool this could be the perfect volunteering job for you.
We’re looking to recruit a large team of Litter Defence Volunteers to litter pick at Vintage at Goodwood, a new annual summer event which will celebrate five decades of British music and fashion – from the 1940s right through to now!
In return, you will gain free entrance to the festival – worth £135.
With our history dating back to 1950s England, we’re something of a vintage ourselves. We’ve also worked with some of the greatest names in showbiz in years gone by - including Marc Bolan, Morecambe and Wise, ABBA and David Cassidy.
We’ll need you to litter pick at the festival for 18 hours over the three days – for six hours each day on the 13th, 14th & 15th August 2010.
You’ll then be using the litter you’ve collected to help create a ‘junk art sculpture’ under the guidance of a lead artist.
The rest of the time you’ll be free to enjoy the festival. Find out more about Vintage at Goodwood.
To apply, you need to fill out an application form and supply a recent photograph.
Deadline extended - The closing date is Monday July 19th at 5pm.
