Eco-Schools Show Has the X-Factor

27 June 2011

Over 2,000 of the country’s greenest pupils gathered in Bolton last week for the annual Eco-Schools show.

It was the biggest show to date and it was given some extra sparkle by 2010 X-Factor finalist John Adeleye and singer/songwriter Luc Floreani who both gave live performances on the day.

The Eco-Schools programme is now backing Luc Foreani’s song ‘Breathe’ to become the Eco-Schools children’s choice for the Olympic anthem.

Eco-Schools programme manager Andrew Suter said: “Luc’s song has previously been used as the theme song for the Prince’s Rainforest Project and the lyrics are a perfect link to what the Eco-Schools programme is all about.”

The live music brought a festival atmosphere to the show as well as a frenzy of fans keen to get autographs from the singers.
