The Tidyman is a hero!

A talented arts student has been putting his skills to good use by creating an environmentally themed clip encouraging people to ‘Keep Britain Tidy’
John Osborne, 21, from South Gloucestershire is studying Visual Communication at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen.
As part of his course he was asked to create a short animated clip for the 'Keep Britain Tidy' campaign using the elements of the 'Tidyman' logo.
John said: “I decided to focus on the litter's point of view and how it would react to being discarded on the ground.
“I wanted to attract peoples attention and make it memorable and humorous. I decided to use the song 'Holding Out for a Hero' because it applied to the original concept of the piece of litter wanting to be 'saved' and put in a bin - the litter is holding out for a hero.
“I wanted to make the point that everyone should do their bit to help the environment - it shouldn't require a hero to pick up litter!”
