Looking for science lessons with an eco-theme? Trying to incorporate more eco-ideas into your curriculum? The Pod have teamed up with the British Science Association (BSA) to create a range of new Eco-Science resources, focusing on different aspects of waste, for five to fourteen year olds.

Waste Watch has collaborated with packaging companies and design and technology teachers, to develop and produce a complete GCSE scheme of work that gives students the skills businesses need, and meets current curriculum needs. Results from the most recent trial of the new One Planet Packaging resource have shown an increase in students’ knowledge and interest of sustainability issues.

On Friday 5th July 2013 schools all over the country will be learning outside for Empty Classroom Day. Empty Classroom Day is the day to celebrate all the learning outside the classroom that takes place and to encourage even more. The day was created by schools and organisations at London Sustainable Schools Forum and the idea is simple: One class, outdoors, for one lesson on one day.
